Terms and Conditions

These terms govern the sale of Clinch cards and the use of the profile service at clinch.cards. By placing an order you agree to them.

1. Who you are contracting with

Clinch Cards is operated by Clinch Technologies, Mumbai, India ("we", "us"). Contact: dipesh@clinch.cards, +91 83560 05671.

2. The product

A Clinch card is a physical NFC card that, when held against a phone, opens a profile page hosted by us. Each card is encoded with a token that identifies the card. That token resolves to whichever profile the card is currently assigned to, which means a card can be reassigned without being reprinted.

Cards are made to order and bound to your account before dispatch. Colours shown on this site are photographed as accurately as we can manage, but screens vary and small batch-to-batch variation in finish is normal and is not a defect.

3. Orders and prices

Prices are in Indian Rupees and are the final amount payable; no tax is added at checkout. A receipt is issued for every order. Placing an order is an offer to buy; the contract forms when we confirm the order by email.

If a price is listed incorrectly through an error on our side, we will contact you before charging and you may cancel without penalty. We may decline or cancel an order — for example where an address cannot be delivered to or a payment is flagged — and will refund it in full.

4. Payment

Payments are processed by Cashfree Payments. We do not see or store your card or UPI details. Your order is not confirmed until Cashfree confirms the payment.

6. Returns

Because the cards are made to order and bound to your account, returns are limited to manufacturing defects and damage in transit. The returns and refunds page sets out the process and forms part of these terms.

7. The profile service

A live profile is included with a card at no additional charge and no time limit. Clinch+ is an optional paid tier that adds the premium profile layouts, your own colours and type, and a dashboard showing who opened your card. It costs INR 799 a year when bought with a card and INR 899 a year when bought on its own, and it is included with an Elite card for the first year. It is bought per person and covers every card pointing at your profile.

You are responsible for the content you publish on your profile. You may not use it for anything unlawful, for impersonation, or to distribute malware or harmful material. We may suspend a profile that does, and we will tell you why.

We aim to keep the service available continuously but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, supplier failures and events outside our control can interrupt it.

8. Your account and content

You keep ownership of everything you put on your profile. You grant us only the permission needed to host and display it. You may export or delete it at any time; deleting your profile leaves the physical card unassigned and reusable.

9. Liability

Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, our total liability for any claim connected to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost business or missed contacts.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published here when you place your order, and the date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction.
